To undertake excellent public health research and evaluation
To work collaboratively with communities, public sector colleagues, funders and other researchers to develop relevant research questions and methodologies
To foster the translation of research findings into practice and policy to enhance social and health outcomes and reduce health inequity in New Zealand and internationally
To respect and develop our partnership with Whariki
To build capacity by supervising postgraduate students, providing apprentice-type research training and providing evaluation training for the public health workforce
