Professor Jennie Connor, MBChB, MPH, PhD, FNZCPHM
Jennie Connor is Professor Emerita at the University of Otago, where she held the Chair in Preventive and Social Medicine until 2020.
Jennie is an epidemiologist and public health physician and has been involved in research on the health effects of alcohol and effectiveness of alcohol policy for 15 years, including several collaborations with SHORE. She has been an active advocate for the adoption of evidence-based alcohol policy for reduction in harm and health inequities.
Jennie also has research interests in the public health impacts of transport, and in sexual health.
