Dr June Leung, MBBS, MPH, MD

Originally from Hong Kong, June has a background in public health medicine, research and education. Before relocating to New Zealand in 2019, she was Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong, where she continues to hold an honorary appointment. June’s research interests include the epidemiology of chronic diseases, currently with a focus on the prevention and control of alcohol-related harms. She is a fellow of the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine and a member of the Hong Kong Alliance for Advocacy Against Alcohol.
